St. Paul Lutheran School

Farmington, Missouri

United States

St. Paul Lutheran School is a parochial school

with an enrollment of 202 students in K-8.

St. Paul 11-14-year-old students have computer access on a daily basis and younger students are on a weekly schedule.
We have added Google Apps for Education this year and are working to create personal learning environments for students in 5th-8th grades using Google Sites and Google Reader (RSS feeds). We try to blog on a weekly
basis and have a Moodle online classroom for collaborative work. Creating QR codes for smart phones is an activity we are very interested to implement this year.

We participated in GVC Clubhouse and Contest in 2010-11.

Areas of interest for exchange

We are interested in cultural exchanges to learn about students' lives in other countries. We could establish a Moodle classroom for student discussion or any number of free Web 2.0 tools like Edublog or Kidblog.
